Clinical Hypnotherapy

Transformative change though a blend of focus relaxation and subconscious empowerment

It is important to understand that when a client is in a hypnotic trance, they are completely aware of what’s going on and are in control of the process. They are not asleep or unconscious, just in a very dreamy trance like state. And most people can be enter a trance.

The Process

The process of hypnotherapy involves being guided into an incredibly relaxed state so that the conscious mind is focused on listening to Priya’s instructions and on relaxing, which causes focus to bypass the conscious mind to the deeper subconscious mind. The deeper subconscious mind is where all the important memories, thoughts and beliefs are stored, and can sometimes work against the conscious thoughts. She then offers positive suggestions in relation to the changes that the client specifically wants and needs.

As the conscious and subconscious mind are now aligned in making these positive changes, it is easier to implement these new concepts and ideas which grow stronger day by day. As the changes are made at a deeper level, when the conscious mind wants to implement this change, such as avoid a certain behaviour ie, avoid lighting another cigarette, the subconscious mind is also in agreement.

It becomes so much easier to make the changes needed in life, and it’s also such a relaxing and pleasant experience. Often client’s have stated that they have never been so relaxed before.

The session is recorded and the client will be sent a copy so they can practice the hypnosis track whenever they want to. Hypnotherapy is applicable to a wide range of issues and as an adjunct therapy with other psychology therapies, can strengthen the changes needed in life.
